Dell's Latitude 5000 series are represented by mid-range business laptops. The new offspring is called Latitude 5320, it is the successor of the Latitude 5310 and it almost hasn't changed externally compared to the predecessor. Dell primarily replaces the Comet Lake processors with Tiger Lake models. However, there are also significant changes in connectivity, including the appearance of Thunderbolt 4. Dell also relies on matte surfaces throughout. There is no maintenance hatch, the battery is permanently installed but can be replaced. The innards can be accessed after removing the bottom cover - more on that later. The Latitude is well manufactured. The gaps are correct, there are no material protrusions or sharp edges. There is room for improvement in terms of stability. The base unit is stiff, but it can be bent to a certain extent, which is detrimental to the premium claim.
